Every room has a timer. When it runs out — or the host ends the chat — messages and translations are deleted automatically, normally within 24 hours of expiry.

How is Globetween different from Google Translate’s conversation mode?
Translate’s conversation mode means passing one phone back and forth between two people. Globetween gives everyone their own screen: a shared room, joined by link or QR code, where up to 15 people each read the conversation in their own language. And a printed Business QR can sit at a front desk permanently — fresh rooms rotate behind it automatically.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. Guests scan the QR or tap the link, pick their language, and start typing. It runs in the browser — nothing to install, no sign-up.
What happens to the conversation afterwards?
Rooms are temporary. Messages and their translations are deleted automatically when the room expires or the host ends it — normally within 24 hours of expiry. On Business rooms the host can choose to save a transcript; guests see a notice whenever saving is on.
How many people and languages can one room handle?
Free rooms hold 2 people for up to an hour. Business rooms hold up to 15 people for up to 7 days. Every participant picks their own language independently — one room can be reading the same conversation in many languages at once.
Is it accurate enough for serious conversations?
Globetween uses modern AI translation models and is built for practical, real-world conversations — check-ins, bookings, directions, service questions. It is a communication aid, not a certified interpreter: don’t rely on it for medical, legal, or emergency decisions.
